Shot blasting of aluminium diecasting products is mainly aimed at eliminating hanging or resting burrs, ridges and pigmentations. The product is then prepared for further machining or possible painting operations.
The pieces are moved through belt conveyors equipped with rubber sealing curtains or through motorised air conveyors with step-by-step or continuous feed.
